LiquidSats is a decentralized exchange (DeFi) – a crypto trading platform built around self-custody and no-KYC principles. This means users can swap or lend assets while retaining full ownership and control at all times, without relying on a centralized authority. A dark theme is both a common trader preference and an established pattern in the DeFi space: with data-heavy interfaces and dense charts, darker screens are simply easier on the eyes. As the UI designer, I focused on the color palette, spacing, and content hierarchy – finding ways to present complex data clearly without overwhelming the user.
